“As a professional photographer with over 30 years of experience, I had accumulated an extensive and deeply personal body of work spanning multiple areas of my life — professional shoots, personal family archives, and non-profit projects. Each collection carried its own distinct purpose and meaning, and I needed someone who could honor that complexity.

Deb brought a rare level of care and intentionality to the work. She didn't simply sort and file — she took the time to understand the individual goals and values behind each photograph. With that understanding, she was able to organize and deliver the images in a way that was truly purposeful for each audience and use case.

The result was a thoughtful, meaningful transfer of images — one that each group could immediately put to use. I am grateful for her professionalism, her eye for what matters, and her ability to manage a project of this scope with such personal attention.”

The Before…

Kristen came to Deb with over 2,000 printed photos. Today, those memories live in a beautifully organized digital archive and a thoughtfully curated physical collection she and her family can truly enjoy.

“Deb was just the person I needed! I was overwhelmed with piled-up boxes of family photos and no way to locate or use the pictures. Deb digitized all the photos, then organized them by name and chronologically. She placed them in FOREVER, so I can share them with family members. My nieces and nephews love seeing photos of their parents as kids! I have digital files and the original photos, now organized in two small archival boxes for safe storage. With her expertise and care, Deb created a catalog of our keepsake photos that I use to create memory books and meaningful gifts.”

The After!

CASE STUDY

YMCA Atlanta

As the YMCA of Metro Atlanta approached its 160th anniversary, decades of photographs, documents, and media existed across departments, formats, and storage systems.

"I had the pleasure of working with Deb on an extensive project that required a great deal of research, creativity and in-depth project management. Deb brought insight and thoughtfulness to the project as well as patience and guidance that was much needed. The end result was far above what we could have produced on our own. I appreciated her style and dedication to the project. And as an added bonus - she was a pleasure to work with!"

Results: The transformed archive empowered teams across marketing, membership, development, and leadership to quickly find and use historical content with confidence. The organized collection directly supported:

  • A published 160th Anniversary commemorative book

  • An interactive historical timeline on the YMCA website

  • The production of a 30-minute documentary highlighting the organization’s legacy and impact

Deb served as Project Lead, guiding the organization through a deep, multi-year archival transformation. She established clear processes, built cross-department collaboration, and led the creation of a centralized digital archive designed to support both daily operations and high-visibility anniversary projects.

Her work included the digitization, organization, and cataloging of more than 40,000 assets, including photographs, legal documents, videos, marketing collateral, and historical newspaper articles.
